White Noise

Today's critique is not on a Computer Indie Horror Game, but on an Xbox Indie Horror Game called White Noise. This is a game that goes off the Slender style of game play, but changes it up a bit. You start out in the forest and you are looking for 8 tape recorders. As you find your first one the monster spawns and starts getting trickier to dodge as you get more and more tape recorders. Finally if the monster catches you it shows the screen being a little staticly and you turn to see the monster who attacks you, or eats you, or I don't know. As you get more Tape Recorders all together you can unlock 4 different alternate modes. You can play Hard mode which makes the game harder to beat, you got Happy mode where your flashlight emits a smiley face on the ground, you got Night Vision mode where you play the game with Night Vision on, and Lithium Batteries where your flashlight never runs out, and whenever you get a tape recorder, you flashlight's light gets a bit stronger. Altogether this is a good remake off of the popular Slender Game, and I definitly recommend you playing this game, which only costs 80 Microsoft Points to download

Scary Rating: 6/10
