This is a very simple horror game. You are a stick figure who is looking for a diamond, but are running from some evil entity. Unlike most horror games, you can run endlessly (hence the name run) but it's not as simple as it sounds. This game has a very big map and the diamond is only in one spot, while the dark entity is always right behind you. So all I can say is, keep running

There are many games in the internet that have been related to the word "scary," and I have decided to try to tackle some of the games and report on them. There will be spoilers in here so if you want to play these with no history behind it, do not read them. The games will be rated out of 10 based on Scary level, awesomeness level, and innovation level so there are several ways to look at it. I will try to critique a game every Friday, so visit here on Fridays to see a new one

Hide
This weeks game is one I've played and loved for a long time, but still have yet to beat. Hide is a game that seems more pixelated then most, but less pixelated than those like I See You and I'm Scared. You aren't told anything, you're just put in a land and just start walking. You later realize that your goal is to find these 5 sheets of paper that each have something printed on them, and, unlike Slender, these writings on the paper actually mean something that you will discover when they are all found. It's not as easy as it sounds because there are these robot things with flashlights that are trying to find you, and will chase you down once they find you with their lights. Honestly, this is a very addictive game, especially when you can't seem to beat it, and I recommend this game to anyone who wants to play a very simple horror game

SCP-432
This game is one that has confused me for so long, yet is very addicting no matter how much of a sissy you may be. So far is has gone through 4 different phases, in which I have only played 3. It started out when it's beta version was released implementing a new SCP threat into the internet world. I saw Markiplier play it (he is my inspiration for most of these games) and I found it interesting enough to try. Basically you were trapped in this area with a bunch of different halls and a monster as well. You're goal was to find the box hidden at the end of one of the hallways in the giant map, but at very random (it seemed) times, the creature could be seen, and would kill you if you got too near. It was so very hard in the beta mostly because it had so many kinks that I found it unwinable. Then they finally finished and uploaded two things the day it finished, The actual game, as well as a mode of it that had no villain so you could at least get an idea of the map. I decided not to be a wimp and tried out the actual game first only to die so many times before I could find the box, until I finally downloaded the no monster map so I could get an idea of what I was up against. It was still very hard after doing that but I managed to win and was amazed at how addicting this game truly was. Apparently now though, they released a 2.0 version of the game that I kind of saw Markiplier play where it seems very different, and I hope to try it sometime, but for now, you guys will have to try it yourself

To Flee Swiftly
This is probably one of the most simple, yet addictive Indie Horror Games I have ever played. Basically, You are just a guy who has a flashlight who is in this weirdly shaped room. There is a ghost chasing you from different spots on each level who reminds me of a 2D Ghast like the ones from Minecraft. If he hits you, you lose and have to start over again from the very beginning. Your goal is to find the hole in the ground of each level and fall into it before the creature can catch you. I don't know if there is an end, or how many levels there are, but it is very easy to get addicted to.

No One Has To Die
This is a non-downloadable Indie Psychological game recommended to me by my good friend Nick Amodeo which I actually found very interesting at the least. You start off as a visitor to this not very known place and log on to their chat thing. 4 other people join you on there and explain the situation that there is a fire going on and they all need to survive somehow. Each floor however 1 person must die and you have to be the person who decides this. Depending who you pick will determine a whole new next step leading to more and more people dying until finally 1 is left. This will kind of determine how you good you are in this situation. Finally once you see all the endings however you get a full explanation of everything that has gone on as well as a surprise thing you must do. I don't want to go into full detail about this game, I just want to say that it is one that you will enjoy.
